Hi! I’m Michelle, the heart behind Rose & Aster — a jewelry and clothing brand rooted in love, memory, and self-expression.
Jewelry and clothing have always held a special place in my life. For me, they’ve never been just about style (though that’s definitely part of the fun!) — they’ve always been about the meaning we attach to them. After having my first child, I struggled to feel like myself. The changes were overwhelming, and I often didn’t have the motivation to get ready. My body felt unfamiliar, my old clothes didn’t fit the same, and my confidence took a hit.
That transition taught me something important: feeling beautiful isn’t shallow — it’s empowering. Sometimes a soft sweater, a simple necklace, or a dress that fits just right can remind you of who you are, even in the most chaotic moments.
That’s why I started this boutique. My goal is to create and curate pieces that help not only mamas, but all women feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful at any stage of life. Whether you’re navigating big changes or simply looking for something that makes you smile, I hope you find pieces here that feel meaningful, uplifting, and uniquely you.
WHY ROSE & ASTER
When I was 11, my mom moved to France. Her absence was a big shift in my world, and it was hard. Once when I was visiting her, she gifted me a necklace and a deep olive green blouse — simple, beautiful, and just for me. I wore the necklace daily and kept the blouse for years (even though it didn't fit anymore!). It wasn’t just jewelry or clothing; it became a little piece of her I could keep close. That feeling stayed with me.
The name Rose & Aster comes from our birth flowers — the rose for me, and the aster for my mom. It’s a small tribute to the bond we share and the comfort I found in something meaningful.
Through this brand, I hope to create pieces that allow you to do the same — to wear something that feels like you, or to give a gift that says what words sometimes can’t. Whether it’s a celebration, a memory, or just a way to express your spirit — I’m honored to be a small part of that.
